When you see Lisa Leonard’s gorgeous Web site with her amazingly beautiful hand-stamped jewelry, you can’t help but fall in love. I had the good fortune of meeting, rooming with, and speaking with Lisa at Bloggy Boot Camp in Phoenix last weekend, and the woman behind the jewelry is even more stunning in person, both inside and out.

I’m a self-professed jewelry addict. I tend to lean toward the chunky statement pieces but sometimes I just need a little somethin’ somethin’ that is light, delicate and still makes a subtle statement. Lisa Leonard’s pieces do just that. They are meticulously hand-stamped and what I love most is how she adds such a unique touch to all of her designs. In a world gone hand-stamped wild, Lisa maintains her company’s integrity and style with such grace and beauty. The photo above is of a lovely necklace that she so very thoughtfully & kindly gave me (I am wearing it right now as I type this!). I love it!

Our daughter is much girlier than we ever imagined she would be. From the time she was just a few months old, she loved shoes, purses, accessories. She’s going through an accessories phase right now, and at two-and-a-half years old, is quite particular about the design and style of her accessories.

These adorable goodies are both sweet & funky, and are SUCH a steal. The Triangle Bags currently are on sale for $12.80 and the hair clips are only $4! Both can be found on the Cat in an Apron store. The shop is owned by fellow Portlander Marne Maykowskyj Nordean, whom I have the pleasure of knowing and can attest that she is as much sunshine and sweet peace as is her shop and the products she sells.

I have a jewelry fetish. I have a certain style that I love, and I stick with it: big bold statements, pieces that are one or two colors at the most, and classic shapes. I also can’t afford to spend a lot of money on jewelry, so I am super picky once I do make a purchase. So I love to find new designers whose style suits my own tastes, and who create quality jewelry at a price I can afford.

Mad Candy on Etsy is run by Marisa Dolan from her Portland, Oregon studio. I love her whimsical pieces, but what really catches my eye are the classic lines of her necklaces.

For instance, I once had a wood cut red rose necklace on a black strand that I loved but then it broke. It’s been 6 years and I still miss it. Desperately. Then I saw this necklace and think it might be a close replacement:
